Dr Trudy Madsen

Dr Trudy Madsen is originally from Adelaide, having done Medicine at Adelaide University. She did 2 years general training in Adelaide, 1 year of Anaesthetics in UK, and Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide. Then she spent 12 years in country South Australia: 1 year on the Eyre Peninsula, and 11 years on the Yorke Peninsula.

During this time Dr Madsen had 4 children, who have done most of their schooling and university studies here in Melbourne.

Trudy has been in General practice in Melbourne since June 2003, and have been accustomed to seeing just about anything that walks into a general practice.

Special interests are: Womens’ Health, Paediatrics (all issues and immunization), assessing Mental Health issues and MHCP’s, Shared care, Travel medicine, Mole checks and simple excisions, Iron infusions, MTOP counselling and management.
