
Dr Tessa King
Tess graduated from Deakin University Medical School in 2012. She worked and trained for three years as a hospital and emergency doctor at the Austin and Monash Health before moving into general practice. She has completed a post-graduate certificate in Emergency Medicine and in 2019 she gained her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice.
Tess enjoys all aspects of general practice and has particular interest in emergency medicine, women’s health and paediatrics. She also has an interest in fitness and nutrition. When she’s not working as a GP, Tess enjoys spending time with her two daughters, doing CrossFit, hiking and skiing.
Currently Dr Tessa consults at Hawthorn Medical on a Tuesday morning and can be seen on other days (Wednesday afternoon/evenings, Fridays and some weekends) at South Yarra Medical.
