Dr Sara Taher

Dr Sara Taher graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) in 2004 and has been living in Melbourne since 2007. After years of working as an emergency doctor at various Melbourne hospitals, in 2014, Sara joined the General Practice workforce so she could spend more time with her family. She is now a Fellow of Australian College of General Practitioners and has a Diploma in Child Health.

Sara enjoys practicing all areas of medicine, including women’s health, children’s health, sexual health, psychiatry, chronic disease management, geriatrics and community health promotion. However, with a particular interest in dermatology, she also provides skin cancer screening and can excise small skin lesions.

In her free time, Sara enjoys hanging out with her cheeky boy and cute daughter. She has recently made a career debut as her daughter’s school basketball coach and would appreciate any advice on how to steal a win.
