Dr Alana Shaw
Alana was awarded her degree in medicine from Monash University in 2011. Upon graduation she worked across several Victorian hospitals gaining experience in emergency medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, general medicine, obstetrics, and paediatrics.
In 2014 Alana moved to Cambridge, England where she worked at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in emergency medicine, haematology, and young adult oncology.
She completed a Diploma of Child Health from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (United Kingdom) in 2016 and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2019.
Alana enjoys all aspects of general practice but has special interests in paediatrics, women’s health, and adolescent medicine.
Outside of work Alana enjoys running, playing netball and spending time with her young family.
