Dr Marianna Dare
Dr Marianna (Mary) Dare completed her medical degree at Adelaide University in 2004 and worked at Flinder’s Medical Centre, The Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Alfred Hospital prior to commencing work in general practice in 2009.
She returns to Melbourne after two years in the USA, having previously worked in Adelaide, the Barossa Valley, Richmond Medical and South Yarra Medical. Mary holds a Master of Public Health from James Cook University, Diploma of Child Health from Adelaide University and Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health from the Council of Sexual Health & Family Planning.
Her interests include paediatrics, obstetrics, women’s health, sexual health and travel medicine.
Mary is qualified to provide shared care for pregnant women, insert Implanon contraceptive implants and has also completed further training in Travel Medicine through her studies for a Master of Public Health.
Outside of work Mary enjoys pilates, yoga and spending time with her husband and young son.
